The perfect way to spend an evening! Join us for our Winter Candle Workshop on Thursday 4th December 6pm - 8pm
Whether you're a craft lover looking to learn a new skill or simply looking for a unique activity or something different to celebrate a special occasion, a Daisy Fresh Winter Candle Workshop will be just perfect for you. Join us for a relaxing experience learning how to make two of your own luxury fragranced wooden wick candles.
This class will be held in our Craft Workshop based in our shop - 71-72 Brecon Road, Hirwaun CF44 9NL.
The class includes a glass of fizz and a minced pie on arrival plus light refreshments during the class. Please inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.
The class lasts around two hours sometimes a little longer, you'll learn the important steps of creating two beautifully scented candles from Amy, the owner of Daisy Fresh. We will learn about the different types of wax and the benefits of soy wax, you'll then explore a range of beautiful seasonal fragrances, sampling them to enable you to choose the right ones for your handmade candles, as well as finishing your candle with an assortment of seasonal dried botanicals if you wish.
For our Winter workshops you have the option to upgrade your smaller candle on the day to our gorgeous limited edition ceramic style Christmas tree vessel, for the larger candle you are able to choose from a range of glassware's or choose one of our Daisy Fresh handmade ceramic style pots.
Our workshops are a fun, hands-on experience as you create your candles, blending the fragrance, setting the wick and pouring the wax, you'll be guided through the process step by step, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Classes all include a hot or cold drink and sweet treat to enjoy whilst we chat about our creations and go through any questions.
This class is suitable for complete beginners to those who have dabbled at home but are keen to learn more.
You'll pick up some helpful candle care tips and advice to help you get the most out of your creation when it's time to burn your candle at home. By the end of this immersive and relaxing experience, you'll have learned the fundamentals of a new craft and have created gorgeous candles to take home with you. You will also have a chance to shop our store with an exclusive discount whilst we are closed to the public.

Our workshops are held at our premises, and we have a maximum of 12 places available at each class to ensure a more personal touch and immersive learning experience. Once you have booked, please let us know if there are any dietary requirements at least 1 week prior to the event.
